Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my guidance upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart. You will find peace for your souls, for my way is easy and my burdens are light.
— Matthew 11:28-30
Stress often feels overwhelming, but as believers, we have a source of comfort and strength in God. Jesus encourages us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened, promising to provide rest for our souls. This invitation reminds us that we don't have to carry our worries alone; instead, we can lean on His understanding and love. The Bible teaches us that God cares deeply for us and wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him, for He is attentive to our cries (1 Peter 5:7). Furthermore, in Philippians 4:6-7, we are reminded to present our requests to God and seek His peace, which transcends all understanding. By surrendering our stress to Him, we open ourselves to His calming presence. In doing so, we can experience a profound sense of relief, knowing that His yoke is easy and His burden is light, allowing us to walk in faith and peace.
